Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about how our reviews, documentation and training work, and what to prepare before you get in touch.

Questions we are often asked

Here we answer what teams usually want to know before they ask for a review or a training day. For anything not covered, write to us through the contact page.

Who is buzzura for?

We work with studio engineers, producers and small broadcast teams across the UK. Our clients include in-house television studios, live streaming crews and venues that produce shows for screen. If your team runs cameras, lighting, audio and a gallery, our guidance is written for you.

Do you visit our studio or work remotely?

Both are possible. Camera reviews, audio audits and control room planning usually benefit from time in the room, because signal paths and layouts are easiest to judge there. Documentation and some planning work can be done from drawings, photographs and a call.

What do we receive at the end of a review?

You receive a written report in plain language. It sets out what we found, what we recommend and in which order to tackle it, with diagrams where they help. We also explain the findings to your team in a call or on site if you want.

Can you work with the equipment we already own?

Yes. Most recommendations are about settings, signal routing, placement and procedure rather than new purchases. Where a piece of kit is the real limit, we say so and describe what would be sufficient, without steering you towards a particular product.

How long does a typical piece of work take?

It depends on the size of the studio and the question asked. A single camera or audio review is often a matter of days, while full workflow documentation takes longer. We give you an expected timescale in the written quotation before work begins.

What should we prepare before getting in touch?

A short description of your studio, the equipment in use and the problem you are seeing is enough to start. Signal diagrams, run sheets or photographs are useful if you have them. If you do not, we can build the picture together on a first call.

How do ordering and payment work?

Send an enquiry through the contact page. We reply with a written quotation, and once you confirm it we issue an invoice, which you pay by bank transfer. Nothing is bought on the website itself.

What happens if we need to cancel?

Tell us as soon as you can and we will confirm the position in writing. Cancellations and refunds follow our payment and refund policy, which sets out what applies at each stage. If work has already been carried out, the invoice reflects it.
