Accessibility

What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

We want buzzura.com to work for every visitor, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier. This statement explains what buzzura has done, which gaps remain and how to report a barrier.

Our approach

Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate project. Whenever a page is added or the design is changed, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, operated with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under buzzura.com.

Conformance

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.

Information in another form

If a page on buzzura.com does not work for you, the same information is available without the website. Reach us by telephone on 01522 390417, by email at [email protected] or by post at 14 Brayford Wharf Lane, Lincoln LN1 1TS, and on request we will send the content of a page in another form.

Known limitations

Some pictures are general illustrations with a short alternative text rather than a full description.

Reporting a barrier

Please report any accessibility problem by email to [email protected] or by telephone on 01522 390417. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.

What we do

The site is built from semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, one main heading per page and descriptive link texts. The main content and the navigation are marked as separate regions, and every page declares its language for screen readers. Informative images have text alternatives, decorative ones are marked as such.

Text and background colours are combined to reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body copy, links and buttons. Because sizes are given in relative units, zooming or increasing the browser font size does not disturb the layout. The website can be operated with a keyboard alone.

Preparation of this statement

The present statement is dated 27 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by buzzura, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
